cephy00z This song is what led to my purchase of the discography. tones reminiscient of early Tool, darker landscapes more menacing and sublime. It's a journey that brings you to a precipice of darkness before tipping you over into the abyss.

Will J This song made me feel like I was going through one of those rough days. Love the mix of styles in this song. The raw drum sound got me as soon as it started, made it seem like the old school garage rock. I feel traces of alternative and indie rock mixed in. Great tune !!!

ermannoxxx I feel like I am free falling , when I listen to this song, especially with my eyes closed, the music has a rough edge to it ,,while the vocals sooth and uplift me,,,,beautiful song.

Eric Vegas Favorite of your three releases so far. Good melancholic, listen by yourself kind of song. Couple highlights: vocal effects during pre chorus/layering during the ‘end’ and the bounciness of the chorus.

Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Actually, I didn't find this duo from Portland on Bandcamp myself, but they found me instead. "Write Back to Later Days" is a truly mesmerizing and excellently crafted alternative rock ballad with stunning guitar and bass arrangements, but most of all I like the heavy and slightly distorted drums that drive the music forward here.

lyrics

Write Back to Later Days

Verse 1

See how your body kills time
While you’re far away
Where your open lips can’t tell
Of a broken world
You’ve seen
Where nothings released
So you continue to live
With these laws that tell
You, who we are
Are

Pre-chorus

What you allow
Will continue
See each of them

What you allow
Will continue
See each of them

What you allow
Will continue
See each as they are

Chorus

So when it occurs again
Will we listen this time
To understand
Not agree
To understand
This time
To understand
Not agree

Verse 2

So these smiles
Are all you give
A reminder
Now you’re sure
That this is where
It will all make sense
This dream
Of something to keep
Or never should be here
You won’t close the doors
That go nowhere
Where

Pre-chorus

Chorus

End

What you allow
Will continue
See each of them

What you allow
Will continue
See each of them

What you allow
Will continue
See each as they are

Make them break
Watch them burn
What you desire
Will come

Make them break
Watch them burn
All you desire is done

Make them break
Watch them burn
You’ve no desire
To learn

Make them break
Watch them burn
All you desire
Will come
